TinyOfficeLab exists for one kind of person: the one whose “home office” is a corner of a bedroom, a studio apartment, a dorm, or any space where every square inch is spoken for — and who probably can’t drill a single hole in the wall.
Most ergonomic and home-office advice is written for people with a spare room and a landlord-free wall. That’s not most renters. So we test and recommend gear by two measures almost nobody else uses: actual footprint (will it physically fit, and how much floor or desk does it eat?) and deposit-safety (can you install it, and remove it, without losing your security deposit?).
What we do
- Recommend compact desks, chairs, monitor arms and accessories judged on real dimensions, not just comfort.
- Focus on no-drill, renter-friendly solutions — clamp mounts, freestanding setups, damage-free options.
- Explain how to hit proper ergonomic targets (screen at eye level, ~90° elbows, supported feet) even when space is tight.
How we stay honest
TinyOfficeLab is reader-supported. When you buy through some of our links we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. That never changes which products we recommend — see our Affiliate Disclosure for the full details.
